On April 8, 2025, we held our Annual General Meeting of Shareholders for the 2024 financial year at Plant II, Serang, Banten. President Commissioner Mr. Marsetio and CEO Mr. Tandean Rustandy presided over the event which was attended by all members of the Board of Commissioners and Board of Directors, shareholders, as well as a number of business partners.

The forum decided upon five resolutions, including the validation of all reports; the disbursement of cash dividends of Rp43 per share, totaling to a payout ratio of 74 percent of the net profit in 2024; and appointing public accounting firm Purwantono, Sungkoro and Surja as auditor of our financial statements for the 2025 financial year. We also held a public expose which was presented by COO Mr. Edy Suyanto and CFO Mr. Rudy Sujanto.

As the year 2024 came to a close, various celebratory events were held at our operational locations. One of which that was the culmination of the moment is the inauguration of our Head Office in Jakarta. Having undergone extensive renovations and expansions throughout the year, this headquarters of Arwana Ceramics has just been inaugurated by a highly distinguished guest, namely Presidential Chief of Staff Mr. Anto Mukti Putranto on December 31, 2024.

Furthermore, a new year celebration event for Head Office employees was also held subsequent to this event, while several days prior, various celebratory events have taken place, including joint celebrations at our Plant II, and our Plant V, in Serang and Mojokerto, respectively.

After undergoing a multi-month process of repair and upgrading, our renewed Plant 2A is now ready to produce rectified ceramic tiles. This milestone has been marked with a small ceremony held on October 30, 2024, in which members of our Board of Commissioners and Board of Directors simultaneously pressed the ignition button of its new kiln. Plant 2A itself is our second oldest factory, having produced non-rectified ceramic tiles since 1997. The switch to producing rectified tiles is expected to help bolster our sales in response to the current market trends.

As continuation of longstanding support for the empowerment of local micro, small and medium enterprises, Arwana Ceramics has donated 10,000 square meters of ceramic tiles to the initiative in partnership with the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia. The tiles are to be used for building and maintaining hygienic kitchens of centers of small businesses in Singkawang, Salatiga (Central Java), Pati (Central Java), Pacitan (East Java), and Karangasem (Bali).

The symbolic ceremony for this donation was held on October 18, 2024, in Singkawang, West Kalimantan, and featured the signing of handover documents by COO Mr. Edy Suyanto, and Ms. Reni Yanita as the Director General of Small, Medium and Diverse Industries of the Ministry of Industry. Similar initiatives had been carried out in the past for hygienic kitchens in other regions of Indonesia.

A proud recognition from the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia’s Green Industry Awards in its new format for 2024, our Plant III in Gresik, East Java, just received a Green Industry Award for Best Compliance to the Implementation of Green Industry Standards. Our COO Mr. Edy Suyanto received the award from Minister of Industry Mr. Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita during the Annual Indonesia Green Industry Summit (AIGIS) 2024 event which was held by the ministry.

On May 28, 2024, we had the pleasure of hosting a joint industrial visit from the Business Statistics Program of the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember/ITS) from Indonesia, and the Computer Science Program of the PETRONAS University of Technology (Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS/UTP) from Malaysia. Visiting our Plant V in Mojokerto, East Java, the group of students and faculty members led by Dra. Sri Mumpuni Retnaningsih, M.T. from ITS visited in order to learn more about our production processes, and controlling product quality through the application of statistical methods and information technology.

In this industrial visit, our team led by Plant Manager Mr. Setyo Wahyu Handoni took the students on a number of activities, including a presentation session and a tour of the factory. Overall, we are delighted to have received excellent feedback from the students, including their appreciation for the cleanliness and greenness of Plant V, and especially for the quality and strength of our ARNA products – one of the tests involved dropping the tiles.

On May 27, 2024, we symbolically donated 10 thousand square meters of ceramic tiles to the National Disaster Management Agency (Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana/BNPB), to be used for the agency’s disaster mitigation programs. Taking place at the agency’s office in Jakarta, our CEO Mr. Tandean Rustandy formalized the donation with Head of BNPB Lt Gen Suharyanto by signing a handover document.

On May 20, 2024, our new ARNA Solitaire product line received the Indonesia Property and Bank – Indonesia MyHome Awards as the most favorite new brand for homogenous tiles. At the same event, the Indonesian Ceramics Industry Association (Asosiasi Aneka Industri Keramik Indonesia/ASAKI) also received an award for its synergy with the media in promoting local products.

On May 9-12, 2024, we participated in the annual KERAMIKA exhibition which was held at the Jakarta Convention Center in Jakarta. During the 4-day event, we had the pleasure of closely engaging with our customers, business partners, and visitors in general, as we especially seek to further introduce and expand upon our two fresh, high quality, flagship products: ARNA Granite and UNO Rectified.

On the first day of the event, our COO Mr. Edy Suyanto in his capacity as the Chairman of the Indonesian Ceramics Industry Association also featured in the opening ceremony. In his speech, he highlighted KERAMIKA in this tenth edition as proof that the industry is still able to maintain consistency, commitment and resilience amid a somewhat unfavorable global economic conditions.

The decline in purchasing power, the inflow of imported tiles, and the disturbances to natural gas supplies have not been able to break the spirit of the ceramics industry as the industry continues to contribute and innovate in meeting the national demand for building materials. Mr. Edy Suyanto also elaborated upon recent dynamics and developments in the industry, covering trade and regulatory issues.

Overall, our booth received plenty of interest, and as icing on the cake, our booth was also among the booths that were awarded Best Booth Design at the conclusion of the event.
